    Strategic Alliances  
    Alliances between large companies and small companies are excellent for helping small companies gain access to markets and obtain the credibility needed when their product or service is expensive or requires long-term service support.  Strategic Alliances can also be an attractive way for small companies to raise capital to fund their growth while providing their larger partner with access to new technology.  However, in other cases, Strategic Alliances are in essence a deferred sale of the business to the larger partner.  Not a bad idea if you plan for it, but potentially devastating if not expected or desired by the small company.

    Strategic Planning - Business Plans  
    The principals at Lenvest are experienced in helping senior management develop a shared vision for the future of their organization, getting employee buy-in and then documenting the plan so that it can be shared with all the stake holders of the organization.  Developing a new vision and documenting it in a written strategic plan for any organization is a difficult, stressful and risky endeavor.  To be truly successful, the strategic planning process must make an honest assessment of all things strong and weak about the organization and the environment in which it operates.  Many organizations are not up to the task.  For those who are, we are delighted to be your guide and facilitator in the strategic planning process.    

    The development of a Strategic Plan for an organization is quite different than writing a Business Plan, although each may include some identical components.  The principals at Lenvest are also experienced in helping senior management document their vision for the future of their business in the form of a Business Plan.  Today, many lenders and savvy investors insist upon closely-held businesses having a well thought out Business Plan.  They believe the Business Plan is the best way to evaluate how the entrepreneur thinks and how strong the entrepreneur's grasp is of the risks and opportunities which a particular industry brings.  Lenvest has mastered the process of guiding entrepreneurs through the development of Business Plans into effective presentations with meaningful financial forecasts.      
       

    Executive Assessments - Executive Coaching  
    Executives who find themselves in trouble, whether in large companies or entrepreneurs in development stage companies, typically got in trouble not from personal weaknesses, but from personal strengths that are over used.  Some larger organizations have discovered that using industrial psychologists to provide coaching to their executives in managing their personal strengths and weaknesses helps improve team building and the overall effectiveness of the organization.    

    At many fast-track, closely-held companies, the entrepreneur - CEO is close to maxing-out the utilization of their strengths, and can't understand why it's no longer having positive results.  After all, their strengths brought the company this far.  Outside investors and senior level managers may find themselves in disputes with the CEO that seem to be unresolvable.  The industrial psychologist associated with Lenvest is available to assist the leaders of fast-track companies in resolving these types of conflicts before the organization is diminished and talented employees leave.
